The patented NovaDrier membrane dryer is unique in the industry. It operates using any source of compressed air. The compressed air passes through a membrane designed exclusively for NOVATEC. Membrane technology has been proven successful over the past 35 years by the Department of Defence. This type of membrane has shown that it can last up to 20 years operating under demanding conditions. The membrane design is an exclusive NOVATEC feature. It is so effective at removing moisture from the air stream that within 4 minutes of start up, -40° dew point process air is flowing through the drying hopper. The NovaDrier has no moving parts and dryer operation is so simple that the primary control is the "On-Off" switch. Turn the power on, set temperature and dry all resins thoroughly without any further adjustment.
Consistent dew point and process air temperature, free of spikes or deviations as well as constant purging of volatiles from the process, helps ensure uniform parts. All NovaDrier hoppers are insulated for better temperature control.
The NovaDrier has no process motor, regeneration motor and no regeneration heater. There are no valves and cooling coils are not required on high temperature applications. This technological breakthrough means that the only scheduled maintenance requirement is that two compressed air filter elements be changed annually.

What one satisfied customer has to say
"In the past, most of our splay defects have resulted from improperly dried material. Since we have switched from traditional desiccant dryers to Novatec's NovaDrier we have drastically reduced the rate of defects. The NovaDriers run at peak performance with absolutely minimal maintenance. The savings are significant.
We currently have over 150 NovaDriers in our facilities with 50 of them incorporated in a J.I.T. material handling system which was designed and installed by Novatec. Great equipment and great service. that makes us happy and more importantly our customers are happy with our improved performance."
