Metal Detection for pneumatic conveying applications

The S+S GF Primus Metal Separator removes magnetic and non-magnetic metal impurities (steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc) from pneumatically conveyed bulk materials such as granulates and reground material. The rapid-reacting "Quick Flap System" removes contaminated material (and inclusions) into a container, without any interruption to the production process, even at high flow rates. The reject container is emptied automatically.

Typically installed into an existing or new vacuum material line of all injection, extrusion or blow moulding machines to prevent nozzle blockages or incoming and outgoing goods inspection prior to filling silos and big bags.
