Labotek's new DFD desiccant flexible dryer designed for simultaneously drying of one or more hygroscopic materials at medium to large capacities.
The DFD range is introducing a series of desiccant dryers which meet the ever-increasing demands of plastics processors. It successfully combines stability and operational reliability with current requirements for low energy consumption and space-saving design. The DFD range was developed specifically for plastics manufacturers with large capacity requirements. The DFD range is available in 6 different sizes, with outputs from 400 - 8500 m 3 /h and the ability to feed dry air to Labotek's series of DH drying hoppers. Labotek's standard range of DH drying hoppers is available in 30-8000-litre sizes and is designed for temperatures from 40 - 200 0 C. Each drying hopper is fitted with 50 mm insulation, individual heating elements and temperature regulators which combine to minimise heat loss and give extremely accurate temperature control.
Labotek´s DH drying hoppers can be fitted with an easily removable vacuum catch-box with up to 5 outlets enabling each drying hopper to feed dried material to several processing machines simultaneously. Each drying hopper can also be fitted with a remote-controlled slide valve, for fully automated emptying of the individual DH hopper.
