Challenge: |
Design, supply and install a light weight modular conveying system to fit around existing plant equipment with "Lights Out Reliability" suited for 24/7 operation with little or no ongoing maintenance. The conveying system must not only be truly modular in design but modules and components must be readily available from stock. |
| Solution: | After the initial computer generated dimensional drawings were approved a DynaCon modular conveyor system was built to order from stock modules within 2 weeks. |
Precision Valve purchased their first DynaCon modular conveyor system back in 2000 and have since installed and continue to use over 100m of DynaCon. Having so much money invested in their conveyors it is vital that they can be re-configured as required to suit changing plant layouts. Nearly all of the DynaCon modular conveyors installed at Precision Valve have been modified to some degree since their initial installation.
"It can be redesigned, taken apart, expanded into whatever we need. We can reconfigure them quickly and easily, and that gives us a much higher return on investment." Eslyn D'Costa, Production Manager.

Precision Valve was the first to offer valves with parts made exclusively from plastic. Ever since, Precision has been the pioneer of most aerosol developments and is now the largest aerosol valve manufacturer in the world. It is the only truly international company in the market. Precision Valve have been purchasing DynaCon modular conveyors from Fleming Plastics Dynamics since 2000.
